Professional Bio

Armando Pérez Jr always found joy in learning, but it wasn’t until he arrived at university that he realized just how much they enjoyed being enveloped in an academic environment.

It is evident that Mr. Pérez sees his role as a passion and responsibility that transcends any job title.  In just his first years of living in San Diego, he has made an effort to integrate himself with the community by joining Project YANO, a grassroots and non-profit organization committed to providing students with educational and social justice alternatives to military service. He has also attended many community events throughout the neighborhoods in which his students live. Mr. Pérez is humble, reflective, and open to learning from different mentors and experiences.
